Back in May we promised to donate 3% of the earnings from GAT sale in May to charity (see Tweet)

Of course we keep that promise and started the donations now. Each of us choose an organisation that has either international reputation or is known by us personally.

We started with “Bärenherz Leipzig” which supports children that are incurably ill and their families.

It´s a local organisation known and supported by us during the past years.

Thanks to all participants in the pre-sale who made that possible!

Our second donation has been sent to “SOS Kinderdörfer” and will be used to help orphans in China and also families who need additional support.

Originally we intended to support the victims of the flood in Henan/ China but unfortunately we could not find an international organisation to do so. Donating to a Chinese organisation would have been difficult because of the language barrier and because we need a receipt in English or German for our bookkeeping. That´s why we decided to donate to another charity for China.

Our third donation has been sent to Deutscher Tierschutzbund and will be used to fight animal testing. Find out more about this organisation here
